Nurse Targeted in Violent Car Theft Attempt at Casablanca Hospital; Two Suspects Arrested

A nurse at the Ibn Rochd University Hospital Center was the victim of an attempted kidnapping and violent theft. The elements of the prefectural service of the judicial police of Casablanca proceeded, on Tuesday, to the arrest of two individuals who would be involved in this case.
One of the two suspects is the driver of a private ambulance who has a criminal record. In a statement, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) indicated that the Casablanca police were alerted, on Monday, of this attempted [kidnapping and violent theft targeting the victim’s car.
The research and investigations carried out by the elements of the judicial police made it possible to apprehend the two suspects, including the private ambulance driver. The stolen car was found parked and abandoned on a street in Casablanca.
The defendants were placed in custody for the investigation opened in order to determine the circumstances and the motive of this case. But already, the primary motive seems to be theft.
