Moroccan Police Officer Arrested in Rabat for Alleged Kidnapping of Sub-Saharan Woman

The judicial police of Rabat arrested a peace officer for his alleged involvement in a case of kidnapping and sequestration. An investigation has been opened.
According to the DGSN, this arrest follows a complaint received from a Sub-Saharan woman claiming to have been handcuffed and exposed to an attempted kidnapping and sequestration by two unknown individuals.
The investigations and inquiries carried out made it possible to establish the alleged involvement of the arrested peace officer.
The accused was placed in custody at the disposal of the investigation conducted by the prefectural service of the judicial police under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, in order to elucidate the circumstances of this case and determine its motives, concludes the DGSN.
