Violent Home Invasion in Morocco Leaves One Dead, One Critically Injured

The events took place on Friday. A young man in his twenties attacked the victim at his home, stabbing him fatally, reports Alyaoum24. The suspect also attacked the victim’s wife, seriously injuring her. She was urgently transferred to the intensive care unit of the regional hospital in Beni Mellal.

Alerted, the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie went to the scene and secured the crime scene. An investigation was immediately opened to shed light on this heinous crime. It led to the arrest of the suspect, who was placed in custody under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office.

The victim’s body was transferred to the morgue of the local hospital in Souk Sebt for the purposes of the autopsy, which will determine the exact cause of the victim’s death. The investigation is ongoing.
