Charred Body Found in Moroccan Oven Prompts Investigation

The charred body of a person was found during the night from Friday to Saturday in a traditional oven in the commune of Moulay Abdallah. The competent public prosecutor’s office of the Court of Appeal of El Jadida has opened an investigation to determine the causes and circumstances of the death.
The victim’s remains were found in an oven in Derb El Massira, in the commune of Moulay Abdallah. As part of the investigation opened on the instructions of the competent public prosecutor’s office, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of Moulay Abdallah, accompanied by the authorities and members of the civil protection of the El Jadida region, went to the scene to carry out the usual findings.
The public prosecutor’s office of the Court of Appeal of El Jadida ordered on Saturday the transfer of the victim’s body to the morgue of the Mohammed V hospital for the purposes of the autopsy, which will make it possible to determine the exact cause of death and whether it is a suicide or a homicide.
