Elderly Man Kills Daughter and Son-in-Law in Moroccan City Shooting

A family drama shook the city of Mohammedia this Sunday, February 23. A 73-year-old man shot and killed his 43-year-old daughter and her 60-year-old husband using a hunting rifle.
The incident took place at the septuagenarian’s home, located in the Hassania II neighborhood. Alerted, the law enforcement forces quickly intervened at the crime scene. The suspect was apprehended and the murder weapon, a hunting rifle, was seized.
The bodies of the two victims were transported to the morgue for an autopsy. A judicial investigation has been opened by the judicial police of the regional security zone of Mohammedia to determine the exact circumstances of this double homicide. The suspect has been taken into custody and the investigation is being conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office.
For now, the shooter’s motives remain unknown. The investigations are ongoing to shed light on this family tragedy.
