French National Arrested in Morocco for Alleged Child Exploitation and Pornography

A 43-year-old French national is the subject of a judicial investigation in Mohammedia following his arrest by the police on Monday, April 21. The suspicions against him concern acts of corruption of minors and the production of adult material.
Current investigations suggest a modus operandi involving the use of a "caravan" type vehicle to approach young underage girls. The suspect is also accused of having filmed some of his alleged actions.
As part of the ongoing research, a search allowed investigators to seize several electronic devices as well as storage media; these elements are being analyzed to detect any digital traces corroborating the suspected criminal activities.
The man in his forties has been placed in police custody and is at the disposal of the investigating services. The investigation continues under the direction of the competent public prosecutor’s office in order to elucidate all the circumstances of this case and to identify all possible ramifications.
