Fake Marriage Certificate Uncovered in Moroccan Adultery Investigation

A falsified marriage certificate was discovered by security services in Tangier during an investigation opened following a complaint of marital infidelity. The man who presented this document has been arrested and now faces charges of forgery and use of forged documents.
The case began when a woman (K.M.) filed a complaint against her husband for infidelity, based on evidence. During the police investigation that followed this complaint, the husband produced a marriage document to justify his relationship with another woman. However, when investigators verified this document, they established that it was a fake, not officially registered with the civil registry.
Initial investigations into this document suggest that it was obtained through illegal means and that other people may be involved in its falsification. Following these discoveries, the husband was arrested by the police, pending further investigation. The prosecutor’s office has opened a thorough investigation into this forgery incident, particularly seeking to identify a possible network and understand the methods used.
