A young man in his twenties killed his cousin due to a dispute over inheritance in the rural commune of N’Khila, near Settat, before fleeing. He wouldn’t go far. He was arrested by a royal gendarmerie commando.
A minor dispute over inheritance turns tragic. A young man in his twenties was arrested last Friday by a royal gendarmerie commando and then placed in custody. The victim’s body was transported to the morgue of the provincial hospital in Settat for an autopsy to determine the causes of her death and the circumstances of the assault, reports Assabah.
The arrested young man allegedly stabbed his cousin to death and struck her friend on the shoulder, causing an injury. Transported to the emergency room of the provincial hospital in Settat for treatment, she is doing better. It is precisely she who recounted the events. According to her, her friend’s cousin first verbally provoked the first victim before physically assaulting her, striking her multiple times on the head.
In the process, she intervened, but the suspect then dealt her a violent blow to the shoulder, initially intended to be aimed at the head. Her friend, however, succumbed to her severe head injuries.
