Son Suspected in Fatal Stabbing of Father in Tangier, Morocco

A man in his forties was fatally stabbed last Tuesday in Ain Dalia, on the outskirts of Tangier. His son, in his twenties, is the main suspect.
According to information from the website Al3omk, the attack took place at the family home. The young man allegedly inflicted fatal blows to his father, notably striking him in the heart. The victim died on the spot.
According to the same source, the perpetrator left his father lying in his blood. He then fled to an unknown destination.
The Royal Gendarmerie has opened an investigation under the authority of the competent prosecutor’s office. Investigations are focusing on establishing the precise circumstances of the homicide and its causes. The fugitive is actively being sought.
