Veteran Moroccan News Director Samira Sitail Leaves 2M for Academic Pursuit

The director of information for the 2M channel, Samira Sitail, is officially leaving her position, after more than 30 years of career.
It’s official! The Moroccan channel has confirmed her departure through a press release. The 2M family, through this channel, expressed its gratitude to Samira Sitail, and wished her every success for her next journey.
According to the same press release, the now former director is leaving 2M to embark on a new academic experience with a specialized course in information and communication sciences at the Celsa-La Sorbonne Institute; which will allow her to return and take on new challenges in the service of Morocco.
After 30 years of career with this channel that she joined in 1990 as a journalist-presenter, Samira Sitail is leaving after an exceptional career. A career intimately linked to that of the channel as well as to the various turning points that have marked its development.
