Former Moroccan Media Executive Samira Sitaïl Joins Top European Communications Firm

Samira Sitaïl, former director of information for the Moroccan national channel 2M, now works for one of Europe’s largest communications groups, Marco de Comunicación (MdC).

After her voluntary departure from the Moroccan media group on January 31, 2020, Samira Sital has joined the Spanish Marco de Comunicación (MdC) as a senior advisor. This is one of the major European firms operating in the communication and e-reputation sector, as well as strategic consulting, risk management and public relations, reports atlasinfo.

The Franco-Moroccan journalist, who is also a co-founder of the network of African women journalists, Les Panafricaines, is putting her skills and network at the service of the Spanish group. In parallel, she is pursuing a Master’s degree in institutions and risk management at CELSA in Paris.

MdC has offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, Paris, Casablanca, Miami, Peru, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Brussels and South Africa, and a team of nearly 100 professionals. In Morocco, the pioneer of digital and social media in the Iberian region has worked with AMDIE, as well as on the establishment of the Canadian Bombardier in Morocco or the international communication component of COP22, held in Marrakech in November 2016.
