Moroccan Singer Samira Said Receives Unexpected Birthday Wishes from Israeli Army Spokesman

A message from the spokesman of the Israeli army has taken Internet users by surprise, both in Morocco and in the Arab world. Avichay Adraee congratulated the diva of Arab song, Samira Said, on the occasion of her birthday.
In his Facebook post, which was accompanied by the song "Laila Habibi", the Israeli official invited his subscribers to listen to "one of the best productions of the star", we read in the comment.
"I address the school of melodies, Samira Said, one of the oldest and most beloved Arab voices that have not lost their talent. I wish you a long life, on the occasion of your birthday, flourishing health and more beautiful works, in order to remain a symbol of Arab music," he wrote in his post.
The gesture of the spokesman of the Israeli army has been interpreted in different ways by Internet users. While some appreciated the kind attention of the man, others described it as a new attempt by Israel to normalize its relations with the Arab nations.
