Moroccan Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Resigns, Refutes Dismissal Claims

Chafika El Habti has lifted the veil on the reasons for her departure from the Communication Department of the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
We now know a little more about the reasons for the departure of the director of communication of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On her Facebook page, the former communication manager wanted to provide clarification on the rumors of her alleged dismissal.
Chafika El Habti immediately refuted any allegation concerning her removal from her position by decision of the minister. According to the former director, she has never been dismissed from her position. In her own words, she has rather been "appointed to another position of responsibility".
"The honorable Minister Nasser Bourita had informed me of the new work plan of our ministry, which requires my contribution from another position than the one for which I have been responsible with dedication for two years. And that’s what I understood well," El Habti specified on the social network.
The now former director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not fail to highlight the qualities of the Moroccan Foreign Minister: "I want to assure that Nasser Bourita is a great statesman, respectful and responsible, who has the gift of instilling positive energy within his team." She believes she had the opportunity to develop her potential and acquire new knowledge in the diplomatic field over these 24 months of collaboration.
