Uncle Among Three New Suspects Arrested in Toddler Ikhlas Al Boujdaïni Murder Case

A few days after the arrest of the first accused in the case of little Ikhlas, the security services have just arrested three others, including the victim’s uncle and neighbor.
According to AlYaoum24, it was telephone interviews with the first accused in this case, named "Mahjoub", that ultimately led the authorities to the arrest of three new suspects, allegedly linked to the murder of little Ikhlas Al Boujdaïni.
Only three years old, she had been found dead near her home on Tuesday, January 22, in Douar Ikrouden, in the commune of Azalaf, lying in a forest on the outskirts of Driouch. She had disappeared three weeks earlier.
One of the arrested persons accused of being involved in this case is none other than the deceased’s uncle and neighbor. He becomes the main accused in this murder.
The deceased was buried last week in Midar, her hometown. The circumstances and motives of this crime remain unclear. Some rumors speak of revenge, others of witchcraft, but so far no official thesis has been revealed by the authorities.
According to AlYaoum24, the accused will appear before the competent court on February 18.
