The Criminal Chamber at the Court of Appeal of Nador sentenced, on Wednesday, October 9, the main defendant to 25 years in prison for the murder of little Ikhlass, only 3 years old.
The second defendant was acquitted in this case that goes back to January 2019, when the girl was found dead in a forest near Driouech, in northern Morocco.
According to Hibapress, the trial, which lasted nearly 3 months, had begun in July with a preliminary investigation conducted by the investigating judge on the charges, including involuntary manslaughter following a kidnapping.
