Moroccan Police Seize 1 Kg of Pure Cocaine, Arrest Two in Major Drug Bust

The judicial police of Salé, in coordination with the General Directorate of National Territory Surveillance (DGST), arrested on Saturday two people, aged 35 and 39, suspected of being involved in a cocaine trafficking case.
In a statement, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) announced the arrest of two suspects who were in a rented car, at the Sidi Allal El Bahraoui toll booth, after leaving Nador heading to Casablanca.
A search led to the discovery of one kilogram of cocaine. The scientific expertise carried out on some samples demonstrated the purity of the substance.
The two suspects were taken into custody. The investigation is still ongoing to arrest any other potential accomplices in this case and to uncover possible links between the suspects and the criminal networks active in drug and psychotropic trafficking.
