Moroccan Police Seize Cocaine, Psychotropic Drugs in Major Tangier Drug Bust

New anti-drug operation in northern Morocco with the seizure by the elements of the prefectural judicial police of Tangier of psychotropic drugs and cocaine.
In a press release, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) indicates that its services have seized 6,915 psychotropic tablets and about 80 grams of cocaine on two individuals suspected of being involved in drug and psychotropic trafficking.
During the same operation, the police also seized "a large sum of money in dirhams" from drug trafficking as well as two swords and a car. The amount seized was not disclosed by the DGSN.
The two drug traffickers were taken into custody as part of the investigation "conducted under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office, in order to elucidate the ins and outs of this case".
