In a statement, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) explains that 12,550 psychotropic tablets hidden under the seat of the taxi driven by the accused in the Attakadoum district of Rabat were seized, while a seizure carried out at his home made it possible to seize cannabis, cocaine and cash that would come from drug trafficking.
Several other mobile phones belonging to the two suspects were seized during the operation carried out by the prefectural judicial police service of the city of Rabat, the same source said.
The two drug traffickers were taken into custody pending the end of the investigation and their presentation to justice.
