Mother-Son Duo Arrested in Rabat for Drug Trafficking, Large Quantity of Psychotropics Seized

A mother and her son have just been arrested at the Rabat bus station with a large quantity of psychotropic tablets and a large sum of money in their possession.
It was on the basis of information from the DGST that this arrest could be carried out, this Friday morning, by the judicial police of Rabat. The apprehended persons are a mother and her son. A case of possession and trafficking of drugs and psychotropic substances...
According to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), it was at the Kamra bus station that the suspects were apprehended, just after arriving on a bus from a city in the north of the Kingdom that was not specified.
They had exactly 2,585 psychotropic tablets on them and, according to the press release, an amount of money whose probable origin is drug trafficking. The amount of the sum was not disclosed.
Son and mother were arrested and placed in custody and the investigation continues in order to shed full light on this case.
