Turkish National Arrested at Moroccan Port with 230 kg of Cannabis Bound for Spain

A Turkish citizen was arrested in the act of attempting to traffic 230 kilograms of cannabis resin, on board a truck registered in the Netherlands.
The joint operation, carried out by the Judicial Police Brigade of Nador, the elements of the national security and the customs services of the port of Nador, made it possible to arrest the suspect in the act of drug trafficking, according to a press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
The defendant was about to board for the port of Almeria, Spain. For the needs of the investigation, he was placed in custody.
