Tunisian Duo Arrested in Morocco: 1.6 Kilos of Cannabis Found in Vehicle Tire

Following the discovery of cannabis capsules in the spare tire of their vehicle, two Tunisian nationals were reported by a worker at a tire fitting workshop in Mohammedia.
Last Saturday, the judicial police of Mohammedia managed to arrest two Tunisian individuals, for their alleged involvement in a case of drug and narcotic trafficking.
1.6 kilos of cannabis resin, packaged in 299 capsules, was seized by the police, during the search of the two suspects’ vehicle, who were arrested at the city’s train station.
Pending the determination of any ramifications of the network, the two accused were placed in custody at the disposal of the investigation opened under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
