Three Tunisians Arrested at Casablanca Airport for Smuggling 2.7kg of Cannabis Internally

More than 2.7 kilograms of cannabis resin were extracted from the stomachs of three Tunisians arrested in early October at Mohammed V airport in Casablanca.
The 3 traffickers were about to board flights to the Tunisian capital and Istanbul. They had swallowed several dozen cannabis balls each.
An ultrasound scan performed at the Casablanca University Hospital allowed investigators to confirm their suspicions. The individuals had 486 cannabis capsules in their stomachs.
Pending their appearance before the Attorney General for drug trafficking, a judicial investigation has been opened by the Casablanca prefectural police service to determine the ramifications of the criminal network.
