Travel Agency Director Arrested in Morocco for Selling Fake Foreign Job Contracts

Accused of providing fake job contracts in foreign countries in exchange for large sums of money, the director of a travel agency and her accomplices were arrested by the elements of the regional brigade of the Judicial Police of Fès.
It all started with multiple complaints filed by victims of employees of a travel agency located in Taza. In their complaints, the victims claim that the structure acted as an intermediary and provided them with fake job contracts abroad in exchange for sums ranging from 70,000 to 100,000 dirhams, according to a statement from the DGSN.
The elements of the regional brigade of the Judicial Police of Fès opened an investigation which proved fruitful. They managed to identify and arrest the director of the travel agency, her partner and an intermediary. They also seized receipts proving the amounts paid by the victims, a set of fake job contracts in the name of others, as well as mobile phones bearing traces of digital fraud.
Pending the conclusion of the ongoing investigation and the arrest of a fourth suspect involved in this network of fraud and misappropriation of funds, the three suspects were placed in custody.
