Moroccan Police Bust Fraud Ring in Marrakech, Arrest Three Suspects

The prefectural service of the Judicial Police of Marrakech has arrested three individuals suspected of being involved in a criminal network active in forgery and use of forgery, then in fraud. Two of them are repeat offenders wanted in several cities of the Kingdom.

The investigations carried out, as well as the search operations, were conclusive: the premises serving as a fictitious travel agency were located. Investigators found there 58 passports belonging to potential victims, 120 files containing personal documents of the victims.

The investigators also proceeded to seize a computer and mobile phones, then a fake stamp of the fictitious travel agency, details the same source. For now, the accused have been placed in custody for the needs of the investigation.
