Moroccan Police Warn of Rising Recruitment Scams and Fraud Schemes

In a preventive approach, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), on its Twitter account, raises awareness among citizens about the different types of fraud and scams.
Cases of fraud and scams are multiplying and do not resemble each other in Morocco. According to the press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), they are becoming recurrent as soon as recruitment competitions are announced by the department.
On these occasions, victims are targeted by scammers who, for large sums of money, promise a job in the police, the gendarmerie or the public administration.
To this form of fraud are added the false transfer orders, which can be particularly difficult to cash in for companies, not to mention the cases of lottery fraud. They allow considerable sums of money to be extorted from individuals, informs the same source.
To deal with this, the DGSN has disseminated a series of infographics representing thematic advice to users to raise awareness of all these forms of fraud.
