Train Collides with Skidding Truck Near Casablanca, Causing Rail Disruptions
A train accident occurred this Sunday at the level of Bouskoura. The cause of this collision was the skidding of a truck that entered the railway enclosure by engaging the 2 tracks.
In a statement posted on social media, the National Railway Office (ONCF) said that train 902 connecting Khouribga to Casa-Voyageurs stopped urgently after lightly hitting this truck. According to the same source, all the passengers on the train are unharmed apart from some material damage.
As a result, this minor collision caused significant disruption to rail traffic on this axis. Traffic was expected to resume normal operation as soon as the ONCF teams finished their intervention.
Furthermore, the ONCF apologized to its customers for the inconvenience suffered.
