Morocco Resumes Airport Train Service as Travel Restrictions Ease

The Rapid Shuttle Trains (TNR) that serve the Casa-port-Mohammed V Airport route are gradually resuming service starting Wednesday, July 15, 2020. The National Railway Office (ONCF) announced the resumption in a press release.

This gradual resumption follows the operation aimed at authorizing access to the national territory for Moroccan citizens as well as foreign residents in the kingdom, explains the National Railway Office in its press release. The daily service offer is 18 trains, and the program, according to the Office "will be adapted according to the evolution of demand and the flight plan adopted by the airlines".

All of this will be done in strict compliance with the protection and health safety measures taken by the competent authorities. The ONCF specifies that it will strictly apply "the rule of limiting the seats on sale on board with mandatory reservation".
