ONCF Boosts Train Service for Eid Al-Adha and Summer Travel

From Monday, July 27, 2020, the National Railway Office (ONCF) will formalize its special transportation plan designed to support passenger travel during the Eid Al Adha period and the summer holidays.
This special transportation plan includes, in addition to the scheduling of regular trains, additional trains especially on the busiest routes, the strengthening of the teams in charge of welcoming and guiding passengers in stations and on board trains.
The Office also stresses that the resumption will have to meet imperatives, including the strict observance of health safety measures as defined and recommended by the competent authorities. These include, among other things, the mandatory wearing of masks, compliance with social distancing in stations and on board trains, cleaning and disinfection of trains and station areas, and the provision of hydroalcoholic gel in stations and on board trains.
The other good news that ONCF brings to its passengers is the launch of a card offering an unlimited number of trips with an exceptional 50% reduction on "Al Atlas" trains and 30% on "Al Boraq" trains (excluding local routes), the same press release further specifies.
