Morocco’s High-Speed Trains Resume with New Health Measures

For the gradual resumption of high-speed train (TGV), "Al Boraq", the National Railway Office (ONCF) has published its plan relating to health and safety measures.
Mandatory wearing of masks, respect for social distancing in stations and on board trains, advance booking... The commercial director of conventional trains at the ONCF, Tewfiq Bouarif, recalls all these measures. For carriers, it will be a matter of respecting the reduction to 50% of the sales and occupancy capacity. In addition, the ONCF ensures the cleaning and disinfection of trains and shared spaces in stations as well as the provision of hydroalcoholic gel in stations and on board trains.
The ONCF official cites other measures such as travel from zone 2 stations. In this case, passengers are required to have a professional authorization or an exceptional authorization.
The ONCF has also made available to passengers an information and assistance system in all stations and on board trains. This system relates to the various channels such as websites, the 2255 Customer Relationship Center, the ONCF mobile app, as well as pages on social networks. The objective is to allow travelers to be continuously informed about trains as well as all the measures and new travel rules to be respected.
