Morocco Restricts Train Travel for Eid Al-Adha in Zone 2 Cities

New security measures are being taken by the National Railway Office (ONCF) during the Eid Al-Adha celebration period. To this end, any purchase of tickets departing from zone 2 areas is subject to a travel authorization.
In a statement published online on Friday, the ONCF warned its customers that in application of the authorities’ decisions, travel from stations located in cities classified in zone 2, namely Tangier, Marrakech and Kenitra, is subject to the obligation to have a valid authorization issued by the competent authorities.
In this regard, the Office specifies that "the issuance of travel tickets as well as access to trains will only be allowed to passengers with these authorizations".
