A high-speed shuttle train (TNR) fatally struck an individual this Saturday, July 4 around 2:06 pm. This new incident, which comes six days after the one on June 29, caused disruption of rail traffic on the line connecting Casablanca to Kenitra.
In a statement posted on its Facebook page, the National Railway Office (ONCF) indicated that the tragedy occurred when the victim "improperly entered the railway right-of-way to deliberately place himself on the track".
According to the ONCF, traffic resumed after the intervention of the firefighters. While regretting this sad accident, the office apologized to its kind customers for the inconvenience suffered.
