Tourist Files Complaint Against Agadir Taxi Driver for Overcharging Scam

In Agadir, a petit taxi driver defrauded a tourist who filed a complaint against him. In addition to a possible fine that will be imposed on him, he could have his driver’s license revoked.
Another fraudulent taxi driver! In a press release, the professional association of owners, users and drivers of petit taxis announced that a taxi driver is the subject of an investigation after a tourist filed a complaint against him for fraud. The driver would have demanded 150 DH for a taxi ride that should have cost 70 DH.
The association condemned this act of the young driver, which discredits himself but also all the professionals in the sector. The authorities in the region will withdraw the driver’s license "once and for all in addition to the decision awaiting him with the financial fine," adds the same source.
