Marrakech Authorities Revoke License of Taxi Driver Who Overcharged British YouTuber

The sanction has been handed down. The authorities in Marrakech have revoked the license of the petit taxi driver, accused of scamming a famous British YouTuber.
The petit taxi driver who scammed the famous YouTuber, named "Simon Wilson," has been sanctioned by the authorities in Marrakech. They watched, like many Internet users, the videos shared by the latter on social media and managed to identify the driver. According to the facts documented by the British tourist, the taxi driver demanded 350 DH for a transfer from Marrakech-Menara International Airport to Jamaa El-Fna Square.
Upon arrival at the destination, the customer gave him 400 dirhams, but the driver preferred to keep the 50 dirhams, whereas the transport costs should normally be 70 DH, the price set by the competent authorities for petit taxis for the transfer of Moroccan and foreign passengers to and from Marrakech Menara International Airport to all parts of the ochre city.
