Tourist Exposes Alleged Scam Attempt in Marrakech’s Jemaa El Fna Square

A foreign tourist of Arab nationality denounced in a video on social networks the rather unsavory behavior of a Moroccan who tried to scam him during his stay in Marrakech.
In his video, the tourist recounts that he was walking in one of the markets of the famous Jemaa El Fna square, when he was approached by a Marrakchi who spontaneously offered to be his tourist guide. But after taking the tourist to a store serving "bissara", the individual demanded the sum of 200 dirhams from him.
Surprised, the tourist refused to give him such an amount for this simple service and gave him 5 dirhams. But the Moroccan did not accept and got angry. A behavior that the tourist felt compelled to denounce. Like this tourist, many foreigners continue to be victims of scams from some Marrakchis during their stay in the ochre city. Behaviors that damage the image of Marrakech.
