Toulouse Fans Boo Struggling Striker Aboukhlal During Lyon Match

In poor form this season, the Moroccan striker of Toulouse, Zakaria Aboukhlal, was booed by Toulouse supporters on Sunday, September 29 during the match against Lyon (1-2) in the French Ligue 1.
Aboukhlal is going through a bad patch at Toulouse. The Moroccan international is struggling to regain his level of play and to score goals since his return in March last year after about six months of absence following a knee injury sustained on September 21, 2023.
The Atlas Lion did not convince with his performances in the home match against Lyon, played last Sunday. Lined up as a substitute, he was booed by the supporters of his club when he entered the field. A reaction to which Aboukhlal responded with a small smile and applause. Before his injury, Aboukhlal had scored three goals in five matches.
With a home defeat against Lyon (1-2), Toulouse finds itself in 15th place in the Ligue 1 standings with a total of five points in six matches.
