Teen Critically Injured in Stabbing at Spanish Festival, Police Seek Suspects

A 14-year-old Moroccan is currently in serious condition in the hospital after being stabbed in the leg during an altercation that occurred in Santiago de Compostela (northwest Spain).
The events took place during the festivities dedicated to the Ascension. The exact circumstances of this attack remain unknown for the moment.
Once alerted, the local and national police forces quickly went to the scene to secure the area and conduct the initial investigations. Their goal was to find at least four or five young people, apparently minors, who were with the victim at the time of the attack.
The victim, of Spanish nationality and Moroccan origin, suffered a deep wound of about two centimeters at the back of the thigh, causing significant blood loss. The young man lost consciousness before being quickly taken care of by an ambulance, say the witnesses present. He was rushed to the hospital, where his life no longer seemed to be in danger. The quick intervention of the first police officer to arrive on the scene was decisive, as he managed to stop the bleeding while waiting for the medical services.
