British Man Arrested for Stabbing Wife’s Lover in Balearic Islands Home Invasion

A 28-year-old British citizen was arrested by the Guardia Civil, following an attempted murder on a Moroccan in Santa Ponsa (Balearics).
The events took place in the early hours of Friday morning, around 3:45 a.m. The young man is accused of having attacked with a knife the lover of his companion, of Moroccan origin, whom he surprised upon returning home.
During the altercation that followed the discovery of his companion in the company of the 32-year-old Moroccan, the aggressor stabbed the latter in the ribs before fleeing. The victim, in serious condition, was urgently transported to the hospital and admitted to intensive care.
Following this incident, law enforcement was deployed to the scene. After taking the statements of the victim and the suspect’s companion, the Guardia Civil finally located and arrested the suspect nearby. He will be prosecuted for attempted murder.
