Spanish Police Investigate Fatal Shooting of Moroccan-Born Man Near Granada

The Guardia Civil is investigating the murder of a man of Moroccan origin, which occurred on Tuesday in Alhendín, near Granada.
The 42-year-old man died after being shot twice in the chest and arm. The victim, whose identity has not been revealed, was born in Morocco but of Spanish nationality and resided in Alhendín, according to the Guardia Civil to ABC. He was attacked on the road to Malaha, a village located twelve kilometers away.
Residents of the region claim to have heard "several gunshots" before seeing the victim lying on the ground. No one witnessed the murder. For the moment, the Guardia Civil is looking for witnesses and evidence to determine the number of people involved in this assassination and the motive of the attackers.
