A man of Moroccan origin, who fell into a rocky area of La Coruña, in northern Spain, was rescued on Sunday by firefighters, the local police and the city’s health services.

The victim, aged 35, was found "conscious", about 25 meters below the bridge. Presenting injuries to several parts of the body, he received first aid before being transferred by ambulance to the hospital, reports El Español.

The Moroccan was located by the local police while the tide was low. On their arrival by land, the firefighters moved the man using a stretcher lowering system to secure him before the rising tide.
