A 7-year-old Moroccan boy was seriously injured on Wednesday after a serious fall from the fourth floor of a building in the Valencia region (Spain). The child was transported in critical condition to the hospital.
Of Moroccan origin, the victim, the eldest of a family of three children, fell several meters from the window of his room overlooking the inner courtyard of the building, reports El Periódico Mediterraneo.
The child’s mother heard a loud bang before discovering her son on the ground. The heartbreaking cries of the latter attracted the attention of the neighbors who were surprised by the minor’s fall, saying they had also heard a "very loud noise".
