Tangier Police Officer Arrested in Motorcycle Theft Scheme

An investigation has been opened by the Judicial Police of Béni-Makada (Tangier) following a complaint against a policeman accused of usurpation of office governed by law and theft of a motorcycle.
In this complaint, a man accuses a policeman and another individual of having fled on his motorcycle "under the pretext of going to check its regulatory compliance at a police station". The announcement for the sale of this motorcycle had been posted on the Internet.
The motorcycle was found on the public highway, indicates the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), which specifies that the policeman was placed in custody for the needs of the investigation and that searches are currently underway to find the other accomplice who is still at large.
