Moroccan Arrested at Border Crossing: 14 kg of Cannabis Hidden in Motorcycle

Moroccan security services arrested a Moroccan on Monday in Bab Sebta who was trying to smuggle more than 14 kg of cannabis in a... motorcycle.
While the customs services at Bab Sebta had just arrested, last Friday, a Moroccan residing abroad who was trying to smuggle 19 kilos of drugs in a car, it is 14.5 kilos that a Moroccan was trying to smuggle, but in a motorcycle.
It was a thorough search carried out on a motorcycle by the customs services assigned to Bab Sebta that allowed the discovery of this large quantity of drugs, proportionally to the size of the vehicle. The drugs had been buried under the steering structure and under the seat.
The motorcycle, belonging to a Moroccan citizen, is registered in Morocco. The owner of the motorcycle was handed over to the judicial police of Tetouan.
It should be recalled that the Tangier police seized no less than 15 tons of drugs last month, a record. The drugs had been hidden in "a specially arranged hollow for drug trafficking on board an international transport truck registered in Morocco and which was spotted in the Boukhalef district of Tangier".
