Major Drug Bust: 60 Kilos Seized at Morocco-Ceuta Border Crossing

Customs and Police services seized a large quantity of drugs at the border post of Bab Sebta, in northern Morocco.
This seizure was made on Friday, June 28, 2019, on board a car, customs sources told the Map, according to which some 60 kilos of drugs were seized following a thorough search of a car registered in Morocco. It was about to go to Ceuta.
Arranged in the form of tablets, the drugs were hidden by the traffickers in cavities located at the level of the vehicle’s chassis, the same sources specify.
During the same operation, two people were arrested, the driver and his passenger. They were both taken into custody at the Tétouan police station and will be brought before the judge as soon as the investigation, currently underway under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, is completed.
