Moroccan Customs Seize 13 kg of Cannabis at Ceuta Border Crossing

New drug seizure at the border post of Ceuta where Moroccan customs officers have just seized 13 kilos of cannabis resin that were on board a car.
A customs source quoted by the MAP reports the seizure "on Tuesday during a routine vehicle control operation at the Bab Sebta crossing point, of 13 kg of cannabis resin". This drug was hidden "in specially designed hiding places under the chassis of a car registered in Morocco" which was heading to Ceuta.
It is a Moroccan national who was arrested and taken into custody for the needs of the investigation conducted by the judicial police department of Tetouan.
Exactly a month ago, customs officers had seized 14 kilos of cannabis resin that a Moroccan citizen was trying to smuggle into Ceuta on a motorcycle. The drug was hidden under the steering structure and under the seat. A week earlier, it was a Moroccan expatriate who had been arrested in possession of 19 kilos of drugs.
