Moroccan Man Arrested at Ceuta Border with 14 Kilos of Cannabis Hidden in Car Exhaust

He thought he could fool the customs officers but his hiding place was discovered. A man has just been arrested with 14 kilos of drugs at the Bab-Ceuta border post, in northern Morocco.
Some 14 kilos of chira (cannabis resin) were seized on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 in the morning by the customs officers. The drugs were hidden in the "cavities containing the exhaust pipe of a car," says a customs source to the MAP.
On board a car registered in Morocco, the man, also of Moroccan nationality, was about to join the city of Ceuta, the same source specifies.
The drug trafficker was taken into custody at the Tetouan Police Station and his vehicle was seized. He will appear before the courts once the investigation by the police services is completed.
