Tangier Plans Tramway System Ahead of 2030 World Cup Co-Hosting

Tramway lines to transform Tangier. With an estimated overall cost of more than 10 billion dirhams, the initial project includes three lines: the first will connect the university hospital to the Al Boraq high-speed train station, the second will connect the Maghougha industrial zone to Riad Tetouan, and the third will connect the Ibn Battouta International Airport in Tangier to the Al Hassani complex near the large Tangier stadium, reports Tanja24, citing well-informed sources. The stakeholders of the project will meet to determine its final cost, as well as its technical composition and routes.
