Tangier Named Top 10 Global Destination for German Travelers in 2025

The city of Tangier is among the ten best tourist destinations to visit in 2025 for German travelers, according to the magazine "Brisant" of the German public television channel Das Erste.
In an article published on Friday in its "Travel" section, Brisant recommends the city of the strait to German tourists wishing to discover new tourist destinations. The German magazine highlights the strategic geographical position of the northern city, located between Africa and Europe, and between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean.
As tourist sites to discover in the city of Tangier, the magazine cites in particular the Kasbah Museum and the old medina, as well as the famous Hercules Caves. Diving enthusiasts will also find what they are looking for.
Germany is the fourth largest source market for Moroccan tourism. The kingdom recorded the arrival of 826,282 German tourists in 2024, an increase of 22% compared to 2023.
Global tourist destinations, such as the Greek islands, Mokra Gora (Serbia), Jyväskylä (Finland), East Sussex (England), Tarn (France), Albania, Guadalajara (Mexico), the Faroe Islands and Arequipa (Peru), are included in the magazine’s ranking.
