Tangier Airport Sees 20% Surge in Passenger Traffic, Boosting Morocco’s Air Travel

Between January and October 2019, 1,141,973 travelers transited through Tanger Ibn Battouta airport, compared to 948,404 passengers during the same period in 2018, according to ONDA.
This performance represents a 5.43% share of the total air traffic recorded at the various airports in the Kingdom, it is specified.
Regarding passenger traffic during the month of October, Tanger Ibn Battouta airport recorded an increase of 22.81%, from 93,768 passengers in October 2018 to 115,154 travelers last October, i.e. a 5.35% share of the total passenger traffic recorded at the various airports in the Kingdom, it is reported.
Furthermore, Tanger Ibn Battouta airport recorded an annual growth of 4.97% at the end of 2018, i.e. 1,127,541 passengers compared to 1,174,177 passengers in 2017, the office specifies.
