Rabat-Salé Airport Surpasses 1 Million Passengers, Triples Traffic in Decade

A great feat for Rabat-Salé airport, which has just exceeded one million passengers transported.
According to ONDA, the air traffic of this airport, certified ISO 9001 version 2015 and ISO 14001 version 2015, has almost tripled over the past 10 years, with an average annual growth of around 11.5%.
According to the acting director of Rabat-Salé airport, Mohammed Benhaddouch, its traffic has seen a clear evolution in recent years, thanks to its connection with several destinations in Europe and the Middle East, in addition to a domestic link connecting Rabat to Agadir.
An ONDA document reveals that the air traffic of Rabat-Salé airport recorded in 2018 an increase of around +6.81% compared to 2017, welcoming 987,695 passengers.
According to the same source, this upward trend was also observed during the first ten months of 2019, during which the airport recorded a cumulative growth of +13%. Indeed, during the period from January to the end of October 2019, Rabat-Salé airport welcomed 919,550 passengers, compared to 814,945 passengers recorded during the same period in 2018, it is indicated.
