Morocco’s Nador Airport Sees 8.7% Passenger Growth, Hits Record 772,000 in 2019

Nador-Al Aroui airport recorded 772,371 passengers in 2019, compared to 710,715 the previous year, an increase of 8.68%.
According to data from the National Airports Office (ONDA), this performance represents 3.08% of the volume of air traffic across the various airports in the kingdom. This places the Nador Al-Aroui airport in 7th place nationally and first regionally, ahead of Oujda-Angad and Bouarfa airports.
In December 2019, the number of passengers who transited through this airport reached 58,226 travelers, compared to 53,487 during the same month of the previous year, representing a variation of 8.86%, with a share estimated at 2.86%.
Nador airport has air links with several airports, including Brussels and Charleroi (Belgium), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Paris, Marseille and Montpellier (France), Madrid, Barcelona, Majorca and Girona (Spain), Frankfurt, Cologne and Dusseldorf (Germany).
2019 was a record year for the kingdom’s airports, which welcomed 25,059,840 passengers, an increase of 11.18% compared to 2018, the ONDA also indicates.
